Will Nagorno-Karabakh put my entry/exits stamps on a separate piece of paper?

Will Nagorno-Karabakh put my entry/exits stamps on a separate piece of paper? - Card inside a Yellow Envelope

Certain countries won't let a visitor enter if they have a passport stamp from certain other countries.

One case is Azerbaijan which will not permit you to enter if you have a stamp of Nagorno-Karabakh.

In some parts of the world with problems like this the place with the controversial stamp may put it on a separate piece of paper rather than in your passport. Reportedly Cuba will do this for Americans for instance.

Does anybody know whether Nagorno-Karabakh will do this?

I don't think its possible. When we went there last year they insisted on placing a full-page sticker visa into our passports. You might be lucky, but I don't think there is an official way to get it done.

Why do they stamp passports on random pages?

Since many visas need a full page, and some countries even require you to have 2-4 blank pages in your passport to enter a country, it makes sense to economise the space. The trick is simple: stick a post-it on the page you want left blank with a concise note saying you'd like these pages left free for a visa.

Can you enter Azerbaijan with an Armenia stamp?

You can enter Azerbaijan with a stamp from Armenia, although I have heard you will be questioned about it. You however cannot enter Azerbaijan if you have a stamp from the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh otherwise known as Artsakh. Going to Armenia with a stamp from Artsakh or Azerbaijan however is totally fine.

Do you always get a stamp on your passport?

Eventually, they completely stopped stamping altogether. Efficiency proved to be the biggest reason for their change. The new process could help reduce lines at immigration checkpoints and make it a smoother process for travelers.

What pages get stamped in a passport?

You might be able to get a second passport from your Government. Some, like the UK, do this due to this problem.
