Traveling to Spain with German residence permit
I am going to be traveling to Spain in September for a week. I have an American passport and a German residence permit (I live in Germany). My passport expires in March, and my residence permit expires in March also. When I fly to the Spain, my passport will have 6 months validity and, when I return, it expire in 5 months and 3 weeks. Does the rule still apply to me, that my passport must be valid for 6 months after I enter?
