How can I document my relation to a friend for the purposes of Schengen visa
I'm a Russian national planning to visit my friend A in Portugal. A is also a Russian national, married to a Portugal national B. B is willing to provide me with a term of responsibility letter, that is, he guarantees that he'll accommodate me and he'll bear my costs if needed. (Apparently A cannot do that since she's not a Portugal national).
However, I'm worried that this term of responsibility letter might be dismissed by the embassy as unreliable, so I'm thinking of ways to document my relationship with A and B. A is my long-time friend, we've been studying in high school together, and keeping in touch for some 10 years since then. I can, apparently, ask A and B to provide me with a copy of their marriage certificate. Do I need to (and if I do, how?) document my relations to A?
