Transfer at Munich, do I have to clear immigration and is 40 minutes enough time? [duplicate] - Gray Double-bell Clock

I am visiting Paris from India. The flight is via Munich. There is only a 40 minute gap before departing to Paris from there. So my question is 40 minutes a sufficient time to get the immigration and customs check and still manage to get the Paris flight? Is it possible to do the immigration service check in Paris airport so that I would have sufficient time?

Is a 40 minute layover enough time in Munich?

While Munich airport guidelines indicate a minimum time of 40 minutes to make a connection, a better option is to choose itineraries with a layover of at least 60 to 75 minutes to account for any flight delays or if you are flying outside of the same air alliance.

Usually, you just walk through a door labelled "Nothing to declare". But at your first stop (Munich), you have to go through Immigration (Passport Control) and this may not be quick.

Is 50 minutes enough layover in Munich?

If your flight is on time (usually the transatlantic flights are even ahead of time) 50 min will be plenty. If your flight is 30 min late they will escort you from your incoming plane to the outgoing plane without waiting times.

Is 40 minutes enough for a layover?

The recommended layover time for international flights is generally longer, as you will have to go through customs and immigration before boarding your next flight. In most cases, a 30-minute layover for domestic flights and an hour for international flights is considered a minimum, or short, layover.
