Do any countries share passport info of all its citizens? [closed] - Marked Country on a Map

Curious how "global" passports really are, even just the minute they are made, regardless if the passport holder travels or not!

Are there countries that have an agreement with each other that they share all the country's citizens' passport info with another country?

I have a feeling maybe within EU they do this because EU is kinda like one big schengen group? Are there other countries that do this?

Since no checks are carried out at the borders between Schengen Member States, EU countries have decided to join forces to attain the objective of improving security through efficient external border controls, while still facilitating access of persons who have a legitimate interest to enter the EU territory.

Do they check passports within Schengen?

Can you freely cross borders in Europe?

Free movement of persons enables every EU citizen to travel, work and live in an EU country without special formalities. Schengen underpins this freedom by enabling citizens to move around the Schengen Area without being subject to border checks.
