I see this has been answered in the past but I want to check if it is the same nowadays. I have a UK visa and a Schengen visa issued by the Swiss embassy.

We're traveling to London and then taking the Eurostar to Paris. We have confirmed bookings of hotels and flights. Paris to Nice, and then Nice to Geneva.

Would it be a problem in London to board the Eurostar?

A relative of mine was refused a connecting flight on Turkish Airlines from Turkey to an EU country that did not issue the Schengen visa, hence asking.

Can I enter France with Swiss Schengen visa?

"Schengen" visas do not allow entry to France's non-European territories as they are not part of the Schengen area. Similarly, visas for France's non-European territories do not allow entry to the Schengen area.

Can I enter Switzerland with a Schengen visa issued by German Embassy?

Yes. According to the Schengen rules, the Schengen visa is generally valid for all the countries in the Schengen area. Please note, however, that you always have to apply at the consulate of the country which is your primary destination (see FAQ no 5).

Do I have to enter the country that issued my Schengen visa?

It does not need to be the country that issued you with a Schengen Visa, as you must apply with the nation where you are planning to spend the majority of your stay in the Schengen Area.

Can we visit Paris on Schengen visa?

France allows citizens of many countries to visit without a tourist visa for 3 months. If you need a Schengen or long-stay visa to enter France, then you must make an appointment with your local French consulate and provide the appropriate documents.
