Transfer from terminal B to terminal C inside the Newark Airport

Transfer from terminal B to terminal C inside the Newark Airport - People Inside Building

I will go to the Newark Liberty International Airport arrival terminal B (port of entry) from Hong Kong and then take a connected flight at terminal C to Boston Logan Airport after 4 hours. I'd like to verify whether the followings are correct or not?

  1. I do not need to go out the secure zone in Newark Airport during the above whole process to Bonston, including the port of entry immigration, baggage claim, customs, bag drop to Boston flight during transfer and take the flight at terminal C to Boston.

  2. After the above customs, where can I find the bag drop area for my baggage for the flight to Boston? Is there any sign or indication to show the Boston flight number over there to remind me to drop the bag inside the belt?

  3. After the bag drop, I will take the shuttle bus from terminal B to terminal C and the shuttle bus should be still inside the secure zone.

Would you please try to verify the above?

Can you walk from Terminal B to Terminal C at Newark airport?

Terminals A, B, and C are not directly connected to each other via any walkways or bridges, so passengers must ride the AirTrain or shuttle bus to connect.

How do you transfer from Terminal C to B at EWR?

Between Terminals (United Airlines Connections) In addition, United operates a one-way shuttle bus connecting Terminal A to Terminal B and Terminal C to Terminal B between the hours of 1:00 pm and 11:00 pm (i.e., customers in Terminal B cannot use the shuttle bus to go to Terminals A and C).

Is 1 hour enough for connecting flights in Newark?

No, 1 hour is not remotely close to enough ahead of an international flight. EWR is a busy airport and has a lot of delays. The smallest delay in the first flight will cause you to miss the connection. I'd want two hours or preferably three just in case.
