What can you do at the airport for 6 hours?

Here are a few things you could do to keep yourselves entertained on a six-hour layover.
  • Taste the country's culture, try a local dish.
  • Stalk the local authors, hoard for rare books.
  • Shop for souvenirs, they're cheaper at the airports.
  • And bring your tiny MP3 players.

  • How much time do you need to leave airport during layover?

Because layovers are your choice, you can leave whenever you like, but seasoned travelers, including McGee, seldom leave airports for less than six hours.

Is a 2 hour layover enough to leave the airport?

If your layover time is just a few hours, never risk leaving the airport. You may have to clear the customs and go through other formalities at the airport, which takes time. You will have to clear the security again if you leave the airport and come back.
