As a UK passport holder do I need to get a Schengen Visa for Iceland for a 4 day holiday?

As a UK passport holder do I need to get a Schengen Visa for Iceland for a 4 day holiday? - Passport on Top of a Planner

According to http://www.iceland.is/iceland-abroad/uk/consular-services/visas/ people in the UK need to apply to the Danish embassy to get a Schengen visa.

However on http://utl.is/index.php/en/who-needs-a-visa the UK is not mentioned.

So I'm a little confused.

Edit: I'm doing a holiday and will be travelling from London via Paris to Reykjavik and then onto New York, USA.
