Me and my girlfriend are stopping in Rome for a week in June.
Currently places that we were thinking of visiting that are popular tourist places are:
- Colloseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill
- Baths of Caracalla
- Trevi fountain, Spanish steps
- Vatican (Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basillica)
- Pompeii (day trip on the train)
- Villa d'Este (in Tivoli)
- Bioparco zoo
- Borghese gardens
Is there any other places that tourists should visit? Maybe there are some places on this list we should try to avoid? Any advice would be appreciated.
