Using full name when booking a flight ticket

Using full name when booking a flight ticket - Man in airport waiting for boarding on plane

I bought a flight ticket from Budapest to Tokyo Narita from Emirates, and I used my full name for it.

My full name is Wade Tyler Edward Johnson and on Emirates' website Wade appears most of the time, except when using Mr. then it's Mr. Johnson.

But if I want to modify my booking it states my name as Wadetyleredward Johnson.

Would this be a problem?

If it makes a difference, I have been to Japan before, and have NOT overstayed.

Does middle name need to be on airline ticket?

Not all airlines require a middle name on boarding passes. Some ask for a middle initial or don't prompt you at all. However, the TSA's Secure Flight Program involves tighter guidelines on names on documents in order to cut back on the number of passengers being misidentified.

What name should I put on my plane ticket?

All the friendly folks at the TSA care about is that the name on your passport and your name on your airline ticket match. Your passport most likely has your first name, your middle name, (spelled out rather than just an initial), and your maiden name. So, your plane ticket should be booked in your maiden name as well.

Does your plane ticket have to match your ID?

Can I travel under an incorrect name? Definitely not. Under the Transportation Security Administration's (T.S.A.) rules, the name on the boarding pass must match the passenger's government-issued ID.
