Is my Chinese visa reusable?

Is my Chinese visa reusable? - Text

I am a US citizen and have a Chinese visa that expires later this year, but I am looking to go to China again this summer. I originally got this L visa for my trip this winter (which was fantastic). Can I use my visa again or do I have to get a new one?

If it makes a difference, Tibet and Taiwan are possible locations to visit. I have heard in passing that just an L visa won't work for places like Hong Kong, Tibet, and Taiwan. Something to do with coming in and out of "official China".

If anyone could shed some light, that would be great!
