I will be staying in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, and I will need to get to CDG for an 11:30 flight. I have two questions:
- Does it make more sense to take public transport, or to take a taxi?
- In each case, how much time should I allow to get there?

If you have a through ticket and your baggage is checked through to your final destination, it is recommended that you allow a minimum of 70 minutes if your departure is from the same terminal. If you need to transfer between terminals 1, 2, or 3, you should allow a minimum of 90 minutes. How long does it take to get through security at CDG?
Security could be 15 minutes or more than an hour - Immigration/Passport Control is before Security, and could take less or more than an hour. You could easily need 3 hours before departure to navigate -after- the train ride, or you might be at your gate within 30 minutes. Is one hour enough for a connecting flight in CDG?
1 hour is right on the minimum connection time for most such connections at CDG (it actually depends on the exact flights, but the general Domestic-to-International time is 1 hour). How long does passport control take at CDG?
For a rough average, it takes us between 45 mins, and 90, and so much can depend on the other flights arriving at that time. Good luck, and if booking any other transportation, land, or air, I would go with 90 min min, between arrival, and departure.A Walk Around CDG, Charles DeGaulle International Airport, Paris
