It is always fun to visit flea markets when travelling. What are the major options for doing this in the New York City area? We may consider travelling (preferrably by public transportation) around an hour to such a spot. (Staying in Union City right across the river.)

Brooklyn Flea is not like any normal flea market. Relatively easy to get to from NYC and I saw a lot of antiques from vendors that I definitely wanted. However, the prices were too high for me and unfortunately only a great place to sight see and people watch.Is Brooklyn Flea cash only?
