Extra luggage in India [closed]

I am traveling on a domestic flight in India, and need to take two luggages with me (max 23 kgs each). All domestic airlines I checked only allow 15kgs, with extra luggage charges of 500 rupees/kg. so for 31 kgs extra I will play an amount 9300 INR which is three times the flight ticket.

I can pay for a business class ticket, but don't know the rules for baggage for it. I also have SkyTeam Elite with Delta which Jet Air has perhaps a partnership with, but I do not know the baggage rules either (and neither did Jet Air's call center!)

How can I do that?

for Chandigarh to Delhi, use Air India. They provide 25kg checkin free.

If you go early for check in they can allow 2 bags within 25kg (although tkt says one bag).

Forgot to add, it's economy. You don't have to book business class.

Does Air India allow 3 bags?

First and Executive Class: 3 pieces not exceeding 32kg / 70 lbs each. Economy Class: 2 pieces not exceeding 23 kg / 50 lbs each. More than 23 kgs up to 32 kgs (51-70 lbs) - USD 120 / GBP70 per piece. 3rd and each additional piece 23kgs (51 lbs) - USD 240 / GBP180 between EWR and LHR.

Is extra baggage allowed in flight?

Domestic. Should your baggage exceed the limitations of the Free Baggage allowance, an excess baggage charge needs to be paid. For Domestic sectors within India, the excess baggage rate is INR 600 plus applicable GST per kg.

Can Air India take 2 bags?

For Economy passengers with two pieces of luggage, the total combined dimensions (length + breadth + height) of both pieces should not exceed 273cm (107 inches). Also the linear dimension of each piece should not exceed 62 inches. The weight of each bag must not exceed 23 Kgs or 50 pounds.

Can I check in 2 bags in indigo?
