I flew on Air Canada from California to Toronto. I packed a glass wine bottle with WineHero, then packed them in a VinniBag for more protection. Yet the wine bottles still broke when I landed in Toronto! Please see the question in the title.
I emailed their senior company contacts, but they just referred my emails to a Baggage Specialist who denied any compensation.
I didn't buy insurance for checked baggage objects, as $200 CAD was the total cost. I will next time.
