Which of these airports is the most interesting for a pilot? [closed] - High angle of happy adult woman using tablet and cuddling with ethnic husband reading interesting book on bed at home

Recently, I won a flight in a very realistic flight simulator. I'll get some instructions and then I can make a city trip with a Boeing in a professional flight simulator. It is possible to choose between the following airports where I can land:

  • Graz
  • Klagenfurt
  • Linz
  • Wien
  • Split
  • Nizza
  • Paris
  • Berlin
  • Köln
  • Düsseldorf
  • Hannover
  • Hamburg
  • Rimini
  • Rome
  • Amsterdam

Are any of these airports more interesting than the others? By mentioning more interesting, I'm talking about the following criteria:

  • Do any of these airports a very special landing? For example because the airstrip is very short, or in an unusual location?

  • Do any of these airports offer a beautiful view of the city while on the approach for landing?

Best Answer

Graz, Klagenfurt, and Linz are mountainous terrain, making them challenging for the pilot.
The others of course can have their challenges depending on weather conditions (Amsterdam for example suffered from a severe storm all day yesterday, and dense fog for several days last week, canceling an delaying many flights when the runways dipped below even CATIII operating minimums at times).
If you can set both departure and arrival, I'd depart from the coast to enjoy the view when climbing out on autopilot and later to have a challenging arrival procedure while trying to weave your way past peaks on your descent.
