I'm wondering where the place in the above photo is. I'd love to learn more about it! On my copy of Windows 10 Home there are links that share more info about photos, but on this PC with Windows 10 Pro there are no such links or additional info.

How do you find out where the Windows lock screen pictures are from?

Unless you've paused Windows updates for a long time, you can easily check where the photo is from. When you're on the lock screen, you'll see Like what you see? in the top-right corner. Just hover your cursor over that, and it'll tell you where it was taken.

Where are Windows 10 wallpapers taken?

By default, Windows 10 stores your wallpaper images in the \u201cC:WindowsWeb\u201d directory. You can access this directory very simply by clicking in the search bar in the Windows 10 taskbar and type \u201cc:windowsweb\u201d and hitting return. The directory will pop right up.

Where are Microsoft background Picture taken?

To find the location of Windows wallpaper images, open File Explorer and navigate to C:\\Windows\\Web. There, you'll find separate folders labeled Wallpaper and Screen. The Screen folder contains images for the Windows 8 and Windows 10 lock screens.
