Where can I board an Airbus 380 using stairs instead of jetbridges?

Where can I board an Airbus 380 using stairs instead of jetbridges? - People Walking Inside Airline

The international airport of Suriname, doesn't have stairways (yet). Still KLM flies there with a Boeing 747. Making it one of the best places to board a 747. I always have enjoyed walking to the plane and then board it by climbing the stairs. The grandeur of the queen of the skies just grows on you boarding it this way.

Is it already possible to have a similar experience with an Airbus 380?

What is the walkway to the plane called?

A Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) (also known as an air bridge, jet bridge, jetway, and sky bridge as well as by other terms) is an enclosed, elevated passageway which extends from an airport terminal gate to an airplane.

Do planes have stairs inside?

The most common type of airstair is found in most business aircraft, regional jets, and other small airliners, which is a stair built into the inside of the main passenger door, which is lowered to the outside. Aircraft such as the Fokker F-28 series and the VFW-Fokker 614 made this design popular.

Is Airbus A380 better than Boeing 747?

Each of the A380's four engines can put out at least 80,000lbs of thrust while the 747's engines only put out somewhere around 60,000lbs of thrust. But all in all, the A380 still manages to be more efficient and less costly per passenger and would be perfect in high traffic routes like major cities and regional hubs.

Whats the difference between A380 and A388?

Yes A388 is the same as A380-8. Airbus once had the idea to bring a longer version of the A380 on the market, the A380-9. However, given the failure of the A380 to attract customer demand other than Emirates, there will not be any A380-9 (and neither a A380-neo {new engine option}). There might be an A380 plus.
