U.S resident traveling to Ghana

I was born in Colombia and I live in the U.S (permanent resident). I am 22. I will be going to Ghana in a couple of months to volunteer with a non-profit organization for two weeks and I need to know what the requirements are for me to travel.

Can US citizens travel to Accra?

Are U.S. citizens permitted to enter? Yes. Accra Kotoka International Airport is open for regular international passenger travel. Ghana's land and sea borders are open as of March 28, 2022.

What documents do I need to enter Ghana?

All persons entering Ghana must be in possession of a valid passport or Travel Document establishing the identity of the holder.

Can a US citizen get a visa on arrival in Ghana?

A person can obtain a visa on arrival by applying to the Comptroller-General of Ghana Immigration Service (GIS). The application must be filed by the host person or entity in Ghana on behalf of the visiting foreign national.
