Should I renew my ESTA if my point of contact has changed? [duplicate]

Should I renew my ESTA if my point of contact has changed? [duplicate] - Person Holding Silver Iphone 7

Two months ago I entered the United States for business purposes. The point of contact I specified was "Company X".

Now I need to visit the States again, for business purposes, but I'm visiting "Company Y". Should I submit a new ESTA application or should I keep the old one?

I know that submitting a new one doesn't hurt, and in fact that's what I have always done in the past. However I'm becoming sick of paying the fee every 3 months or so :-)

What does point of contact mean on ESTA?

The point of contact always needs to be American. A point of contact can be a friend, family or colleague. But if you do not have a point of contact (yet), this is not a problem. Fill in the details of the first overnight stay, such as the hotel where you will be spending the first night in the USA.

Can I use the same ESTA twice?

An ESTA can be used for multiple entries into the United States. Should an individual find themselves in a situation where they wish to visit the United States repeatedly beyond the 90 days permitted by ESTA, then a B-1 Business Visa or B-2 Tourist Visa may be a more suitable alternative.

Do I need a new ESTA for each trip?

Your ESTA authorization is generally valid for multiple trips over a period of two years (starting the date that you are approved) or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. As long as you received an ESTA authorization to travel, you do not have to reapply during the validity period.

How many times can you renew ESTA?

You may apply for a new ESTA before or after a previous one has expired. There are no restrictions on the number of times you can obtain a new ESTA authorization which is valid for two years from the date of issue. If you wanted to, you even could apply for a new ESTA again the day after obtaining the previous one.
