Seating plans on airplanes - Man in airport waiting for boarding on plane

I just web checked in for my next flight. Out of curiosity I checked the seating plane. Normally, all the rows have 6 seats. 3 on the right side and 3 on the left side. But some rows have only 2 seats on each side. What could be the reason for that? And would these seats be a good or a bad choice?

According this scheme: enter image description here There are emergency exits near row 8-9.

I think that's why there are some restrictions on this. But I don't think this is bad place. On this scheme green is for good place, yellow is for not very good place, and red is for the bad place.

What are the seat options on a plane?

There are 4 cabin classes offered on most airlines: economy, premium economy, business, and first class.

How do I find the seating chart on a plane?

There are two airplane seat information websites that you can use to get seat information in advance of your flight: SeatGuru and SeatLink. Both work very similarly. SeatGuru shows you airplane seat maps online so you can find out whether your airplane seat is over a wing or next to the toilets.

Which seat is B on a plane?

So the row adjacent to row "A" is always row "B" and that adjacent to row "K" is always row "J". There is only a row "C" where there are three seats on the window side of the aisle and it is always an aisle seat and is always adjacent to row "B". (The same applies to row "H" on the right side of the aircraft.)

Why is there no row 13 or 14 on planes?

There is a long-held belief in many cultures that the number 13 is unlucky. And many airlines have responded to this by simply missing out row 13 in their seat numbering. The rows jump straight from 12 to 14. This may seem strange to make such a change based on a superstitious belief.
