Pakistan NICOP no longer says NICOP [closed]

I had my NIC converted to NICOP and the new card that I have does not read NICOP. It just says National ID Card. Is that the same thing? There is no clear answer on NADRA web site.

Will I be allowed to board with this card?

Is Nicop still valid?

All NICOP applications are processed and finalized at NADRA Head Quarters, Islamabad. NICOP is now a mandatory requirement for all Pakistanis living in U.S for more than six months. This card is obligatory for all members of the family, including children who are under the age of 18 years.

What is the difference between Nicop and smart Nicop?

The citizen number or Nadra ID number for both cards is the same for an individual. Also, note that Smart ID Card or Smart NICOP has the only difference of microchip on it. So there is nothing to get confused between NICOP and Smart NICOP.

How can I check my Nicop status online?

You can track the status of your NICOP/POC application by visiting NADRA's website www.nadra.gov.pk. Click the "NICOP / POC Tracking" link on this website and use 10 digit Application Tracking ID printed on top right corner of your receipt received from NADRA office.

How long is a Nicop valid for?

NICOP cards are Valid for 10 Years.
