Non EU citizen with German Residence Permit Transit in London [duplicate]

I have an Indian passport and I'm currently working in Germany.

I am travelling from Dusseldorf--London Heathrow--Chennai. Transit time in London Heathrow is 1 hour 30 minutes, and connecting flight to Chennai departs on the same day and it is also from the same terminal.

I have a German residence permit(Aufenthaltstitel), and my German visa is type "D".

Could you please let me know if I require a transit visa in London?

Because you have a German residence permit, you do not need a visa. A D visa also exempts you from that.

Can I travel to London with German residence permit?

Holding a residence permit in Germany (or any other Schengen country, in fact) entitles you to free travel within the Schengen zone for the duration of your visa or permit.

Can I travel to UK from Germany with German residence permit?

Visas. A Schengen visa or residence permit does not entitle you to travel to the UK without a visa. You can check whether you need a visa and apply for one.

Can I travel within Europe with my residence permit?
