Is there really an easyJet's five minute connection between London airports? - Purple Foot Bridge

While waiting for my plane at London Luton, I've spotted following flight on Flightradar24:

Is there really a five minute long connection between London Luton and London Gatwick airport, served by easyJet? Or is this just a first segment of a longer route or possibly an error in Flightradar24?

I think, it would be easier (and most likely -- cheaper for the airline) to serve this route by bus or train (if possible).

Do easyJet have connecting flights?

Easyjet do not do 'connecting' flights. They are a point to point carrier so the onus is on you to leave enough time between flights. It is two separate bookings and you are not protected.

Does easyJet do layovers?

Easyjet don't have layovers. You fly from one place to the next with them and that's it. When you arrive at Luton you'll have to collect your bags and check in again for your next flight.
