Given the current situation in Ukraine are there problems with crossing of the Ukrainian borders? In general and for westerners in particular.

Two days ago, demonstrants have blocked border crossings to Poland. Some were totally blocked (for westerners and non-westerners likewise) and others were only blocked for trucks. That was a very temporary and isolated action. In the meantime all the crossings are clear again.

Martial law is in effect in Ukraine and air traffic has been suspended, however, the entry and exit of foreign citizens by land is allowed. Checkpoints on the border with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova are open and safe. Checkpoints with the russia, Belarus and Transnistria are closed.
