The Kashmir region of the Indian subcontinent and has been under territorial dispute between India and Pakistan for decades. There are two regions in particular that are claimed by India but under autonomous Pakistani control: the provinces of Gilgit–Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Can an Indian visit Gilgit-Baltistan?

First thing first, you cannot travel to Gilgit-Baltistan with an Indian visa. However, if you have a dual citizenship, you can use your second passport to roam around in Gilgit-Baltistan. People won't even notice unless you don't raise any flags.

Is it possible for an Indian to go to Pakistan?

Indian passport holders are not granted tourist visas, and are only permitted to apply for visas to visit family and friends, business visas, transit visas, and visas for religious pilgrimage.

Can we travel to Gilgit-Baltistan?

You can visit Gilgit-Baltistan without any problems as long as you have a valid visa for Pakistan.

Does India control Azad Kashmir?

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) is nominally a self-governing state, but ever since the 1949 ceasefire between Indian and Pakistani forces, Pakistan has exercised control over the state without actually incorporating it into Pakistan.
