Is it legal in South Korea to receive services from shamans?

This article says that shamanism is technically illegal, though it doesn't say whether it's the provision or receiving of those services, and I haven't found confirmation elsewhere. Googling hasn't helped much because of lots of hits involving a political scandal, and Lonely Planet and Wikivoyage doesn't have much information about shamanism.

I wouldn't purchase animal parts from an endangered species, or from any other species for that matter, as even if it weren't endangered it probably wouldn't pass Australian customs.
