India - Train PQWL likelihood [closed]

my friend and I have booked train tickets from Chennai to Chettinad (Rameswaram Express) on 01/11 but could only get on the PQWL, at positions WL2 and WL3. As this is quite an important leg in our journey, I was wondering, on a vague level, whether I should seriously plan other transport options? Basically, from people's experience would you expect our tickets to be confirmed?

Will PQWL get Cancelled automatically?

It gets automatically cancelled on chart preparation & Refund will be automatically credited in Bank Account in 3 to 7 days.

Is there any chance of PQWL?

Once the tickets from the Pooled Quota is filled, PQWL tickets are issued. Chances of PQWL tickets getting confirmed are usually very low, as in the priority list of waiting list tickets it comes after GNWL.

Will PQWL 1 get confirmed?

PQWL/1 means that your ticket is wait listed as one as per the quota. There is less chances to get it confirmed as compared to Wait Listed Tickets.

Can we travel in train with PQWL?

PQWl is Pooled Quota Waiting List which is meant for small stations on long journey trains. It is same as General WL, so with E-ticket of PQWL you CAN NOT travel and your booking amount will automatically refunded by IRCTC.
