How to assess rough water severity?
I'm considering taking the ferry from Dalvík to Grímsey, which is a 4 hours ride. I've had a very bad experience with a ferry in very rough waters and I don't like to repeat it anytime soon. There was kind of bad weather in the north of Iceland in the past few days but I have no idea how to figure out if the waters between Dalvík and Grímsey are rough.
How can I check the water condition?
