How should I spend my time in Calgary in August? [closed] - Woman Kissing Another Woman on the Forehead

Three questions could explain better my situation:

  1. How far Banff is from Calgary and if it's worth the detour, how to get there, are there any activities to do, and how much is it?
  2. I will be staying in Toronto and want to know how far are the Niagara Falls and how to get here (suggestions on other places to visit is open).
  3. I will be staying from 9th to 16 on Calgary and 17th till 22 in Toronto; how do you recommend I distribute my activities on those time lapses?

Is there anything to do in Calgary?

It's really lively in the summertime and is close to most of downtown Calgary's top attractions such as City Hall, Olympic Park, the Calgary Tower, the Glenbow Museum, the Calgary Public Library, and the Bell Studio National Music Centre.

How long should you spend in Calgary?

1-2 days in Calgary & area, if there are enough things to interest you. I love all things historic, for example, so I would make sure to check out the Glenbow, Heritage Park, Stephen Avenue Historic District, and Lougheed House.

Is Calgary worth visiting?

There are a couple of excellent museums, beautiful parks, and a variety of brew pubs, restaurants and a lively night scene. Calgary is ok. It has a nice zoo, a military museum ( obviously a few more ) . Some good restaurants.. but if going for scenery..
