eTA Canada changed travel dates

I applied for and got approval for an eTA for a trip to Canada in about one week. In the process I indicated my travel dates as (if I remember correctly) that would somehow simplify things.
I may now need to leave a day later. Does that have any implications for my eTA? E.g., do I need to let them know about the changed dates? Do I need a new eTA altogether?

What happens if eTA expires while in Canada?
As long as your eTA is valid on the date of your arrival in Canada, you will not need to reapply for a new eTA. It is acceptable to have an eTA expire after entry into Canada, but subsequent travel to Canada will require a new eTA.What happens if you arrive in Canada without an eTA?
With a valid eTA, you can travel to Canada as often as you want for short stays (normally for up to six months at a time). You do not need an eTA for travel within Canada. An eTA doesn't guarantee entry to Canada. When you arrive, a border services officer will ask to see your passport and other documents. Can I change my eTA in Canada?
No. If your client needs to make changes, you must complete a new application. Why would an eTA be Cancelled?
An eTA can be cancelled in cases where information comes to light that you have become inadmissible to Canada. At that point, an immigration officer would cancel your eTA and let you know by email. If your application was cancelled, you should not travel to Canada.Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA): What you need to know (extended version)
