I got my Family Permit on 14th January. In my application I entered 15th Feb as my 'Intented Arrival Date'. Is it ok if I arrive at 20th Feb as my Family permit is valid for 6 months. Or should I reach UK on 15th Feb?

What is the deadline for EEA Family Permit?

If you already have an EEA family permit, it stopped being valid after 30 June 2021. If you applied for an EEA family permit before 30 June 2021, you will get a decision on your application as soon as possible.

How long does an EEA Family Permit take to process?

The processing times will vary depending on where the application for an EEA family permit is submitted. Standard processing times are up to 6 months. Most application are however decided in 1-3 months.

What is the difference between EU family permit and EEA Family Permit?

The difference is that the EUSS Family Permit, as well as acting as an entry clearance, allows for a stay longer than 6 months. There is then, as you say, no requirement for proof of dependency (unlike an EEA Family Permit).

Can I travel EEA Family Permit after 30th June?

An EEA family permit cannot be used to travel to the UK after 30 June 2021. Where you are seeking to come to the UK with, or to join, your family member after this date, you will need to apply for another document to enable you to do so. You may be able to apply for an EU Settlement Scheme family permit.
