Dublin-Newark-Vancouver. Two-hour layover
In a couple of weeks I am traveling from Dublin to Vancouver, with a layover in Newark. I am flying first with Aer Lingus then Air Canada. I have a two hour layover and am wondering if that's enough time. Also, will my bags will be checked through or will I have to do do that?
Thanks

You will preclear US immigration and customs in Dublin, and your bags should be checked through, so all you have to do in Newark is walk from one plane to the other. Two hours should be plenty of time if your first flight is not delayed.

Some international airports have a minimum connecting time as low as 30 minutes. But usually, when traveling internationally, the MCT is at least an hour. It can go up to 2 hours in large airports requiring a change of terminal. Is a 90 minute layover enough time?
For peace of mind, particularly when connecting in a large city, try to schedule a layover of at least 60 minutes. Assuming you have purchased this as a single ticket, two hours should be quite sufficient unless your flight is significantly delayed. You won't go through any kind of immigration control departing the US, just normal airport security at DFW and Indian immigration when you arrive at BOM.Is 2 hour layover enough for international flight?
International flights require longer connections as you will often have to go through immigration and customs upon arrival. For international layover flights booked on one airline, two hours is often recommended to make your connection.A Basic Guide to Layovers

Newark airport has many separate gate areas behind security. Depending which ones you're using, you may be able to take the United Airlines transfer shuttle to avoid leaving security. Otherwise, you may have to leave security to transfer from one to another.
The Newark Airport airlines list shows Aer Lingus at Terminal B and Air Canada at Terminal A. Fortunately, as ajd said, you'll preclear US immigration and customs in Dublin. So even if the transfer shuttle isn't an option, 2 hours would be enough to leave security in Terminal B, take the AirTrain to Terminal A, and clear security for the next flight.
