Driving time around Iceland

Driving time around Iceland - Free stock photo of aerial view, bird s eye view, bright

Hi I am going to Iceland the second week of May and was thinking of driving. I would like to have my route down but haven't been able to find anything that gives exact driving directions And duration of time it takes to get to each location. I would like to do the golden circle and the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon and all the hot spots along the way. Any suggestions. I only have from may 9-12.

How many kilometers can I drive per day? The general speed limit for cars in Iceland is 50 km/h in urban areas and 90 km/h on paved rural roads. That means theoretically it would be possible to go all around the island in less than 2 days. However, this is something I highly recommend NOT to do.
