Do you need to check-in together?

Definitely you can check in at airport seperately if you're not in a same family or travelling together. At the airport in check in counter the check in counter agent will ask for I'd card for each traveller. So, all traveller have to show their respective I'd card.

Do passengers board at the airline counter?

Passengers start their boarding procedure by going to a reserved area and show their PNR codes or boarding passes to the counter clerks a certain amount of time before boarding. Counter check-in lasts longer than online check-in and for passengers with hand luggage only it can be a waste of time.

Does each passenger need a boarding pass?

Each passenger must have a boarding pass to take a seat on the plane (a ticket itself is not enough to board the plane!). The boarding pass is generated during check-in.

Can you get on the same flight as someone else?

Some need you to pay, others will only allow seat selection 24 hours before departure - at which time it may be too late. If all else fails, you can ask the check-in agent, the gate agent and the flight crew to help accommodate you. Show activity on this post. Yes you can.
