I and my wife have J1 and J2 visas, respectively, and my DS-2019 program starts from the 1st July 2019.
Now, I have to travel to Canada on the 25th of June and my flight has a transit through Philadelphia.
Can I transit through the US to Canada using these J1 and J2 visas (which are valid from 1st July) on the 26th June 2019 (which falls within the 30 day grace period before the starting of the program)?
